RAISING WILDLINGS

Welcome to our blog, where we share our journey of indigenous sustainable living, eco parenting, and life in Southeast Alaska.

We are a family who is deeply connected to our indigenous culture and the land we call home. Our mission is to live in harmony with nature and preserve our traditions for future generations.

We believe in the power of sustainable living and strive to reduce our carbon footprint by living off the land as much as possible. We grow some of our own food, fish and hunt for a portion of our protein.

As parents, we believe that it is our responsibility to teach our children about the importance of sustainability and the impact that our actions have on the environment. We use cloth diapers, practice babywearing, and make our own baby food and practice baby led weaning to minimize waste and promote eco-friendly parenting practices.

Living in Southeast Alaska has its challenges, but it also offers breathtaking natural beauty and a deep connection to the land. We hope to inspire others to live sustainably and connect with their own cultural traditions.

Thank you for joining us on this journey towards a more sustainable future.
